Yesterday, Ms.NU gave us task-based English lesson and we discussed it with her. I learned many things from them. I woukd like to write them.
I did a task with using English. I listened to teacher's and other students' speech about their favotite things, and wrote them dowm. I felt it was difficult to listen to them once. So I had to ask them to spesk again. Althogh I asked them it by using English, can Junior High School students do it ? I would like students get practical English skill and enjoy real communication with English. So teachers need to teach students not only grammtical English but also communication strategy, for example, in this case "pardon?", " one more please" and so on. I think it is important to teach communication strategy. It enables students to get pratical communication skill with English and I think students need to practice it routinely. If I will be an English teacher in the future , I try to do so.
Ms.NU said that output was very important to check whether students could understandand the class and get new English knowledge and skill. Also only input class tends to be one-way class, and students can't enjoy. So she tries to have students output what they learned in the class, for examlpe, by making easy English sentence. In addition, when students do output activity, teacher checks their answers each of them, students get delighted very much. I think they are very important things in teaching. I learned a lot of things from this class, thank you Ms.NU!
Lastly I learned many things about English teaching throught ETM and enjoy it. I was very glad to learn and think English teaching with everyone and Mr. JH. I like English more and get interested in English teaching more! Thank you everone and Mr.JH!

Also, thanks for your fantastic summary of what NU said. It was hard for me to follow the conversation because I was running back and forth between two places.
